**Job Summary**
We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that food safety standards are met. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food industry and contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients for meals.
- Help cooks with meal preparation and cooking as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped.
- Support the team during service by helping to plate dishes and prepare items for delivery to customers.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, including sweeping and mopping floors.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning new tasks.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed in the kitchen setting.
