**Excavator Operator - Water and Sewer** Do you consider yourself a hero? Like to talk to people and make their day? Then you might be a perfect fit for Mr Rooter Plumbing

The Excavator Operator for the Underground Division is a new role for our team, but one that will add limitless value to our current service delivery. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow employees. Ideally you have prior experience in Underground work - Excavation, Digging and Pipe Laying. You have proven communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

**Specific Responsibilities**: - Perform excavation for our water and sewer line replacement jobs
- Help with the other labour related duties at the job site
- Provide assistance where additional labour is required for our regular plumbing and drain cleaning service division
- Shoring installation
- Perform minor maintenance to Underground Equipment
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

**Job Requirements**: - Valid Class 5 Driver's License, with the ability to pull trailers and drive Backhoe and/or Dump Truck to and from job site
- Excavation experience an asset (Backhoe, Mini Excavator or Skid-Steer use, Sewer and Water contractor experience, etc.)
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- Attention to detail an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
