**Best office views you’ll ever get**
Studies show as many as 85% of people don’t like their job.
Here are some of the reasons:
- **Not respected, viewed as a production unit and not a team member.**
We treat every team member as an important contributor to the success of the business. We believe exterior living spaces are the stage for memorable family get-togethers, reunions with old friends and quality time with loved-ones. Our installers are the key our customers need to create this unique space.
- **Don’t have the right knowledge or training to succeed.**
We provide the best tools and training you need to contribute and succeed in being a Duradek expert. A job at AV Deck Shop is a chance to get fully trained in vinyl decking and railings installation and to use your skills to contribute meaningfully to people’s outdoor experiences.
- **Employers don’t care about your personal life.**
At AV Deck Shop we not only want you to succeed on the job but in your personal goals also.
**This is what we stand for**:
- Taking pride in everything we do
- Being passionate about life, power tools and being outside
- WOW customer service
- Creative problem solving
- Being trustworthy and dependable at all times
- Always improving
As an installer with AV Deck Shop, you provide quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service in order to contribute to the company's vision to create on-time and on-budget, low-maintenance exterior living spaces for our clients.
**A few things to note**:
- You will work as a team or independently on small to large-scale projects and will be required to travel throughout the Island.
- This is a seasonal role, busier in the summer, slower in the winter. Project-based extended hours and weekend work are likely during high season.
- We value communication, attention to detail and reliability above anything else.
- Driver’s license and clean driving history required.
