**Job Description**:
AECOM is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intermediate Ecologis t to join our growing team in Ontario.

Job responsibilities include but aren’t limited to the following:
+ Supporting planning and coordinating logistics of environmental field studies.

+ Working with a large multi-disciplinary team to execute projects and meet client expectations.

+ Assisting Project Managers with tasks such as monthly project and budget update summaries, preparation of meeting minutes, scheduling and coordinating field programs.

+ Supporting preparation of proposals and workplans.

+ Completing field programs such as vegetation, wetlands, wildlife, fisheries and soils. Technical discipline specialty experience would be considered an asset.

+ Adhering to and enforcing corporate Safety, Health and Environment protocols and AECOM’s quality control program.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
+ Degree in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or Biological Sciences

+ 4+ years of experience of demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education as an environmental consultant, industry representative, or other.

+ Valid driver’s license.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
+ 6+ years experience in environmental consulting

+ Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with liaising with clients, colleagues and sub-contractors alike

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Well organized, and strong quality and time management

+ Highly motivated and willingness to learn new tasks

+ Experience in a technical discipline such as vegetation, wetlands, wildlife, fisheries or soils would be considered an asset

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $61,000.00 - $85,000.00.
