**Your Stage, Your Rules**

This is not your average desk job; it is a hands-on role that will keep the Ottawa property staffed to perfection. We are counting on you to create recruitment strategies that are so innovative they will make heads spin. Collaboration is key as you team up with our business leaders to ensure we have a never-ending supply of talent

**Responsibilities**:
**Training Dynamo**
- Organize supervisor training for all our leaders, because we want our team to always get a standing ovation.
- Throw in some brand induction training for all employees - we are all about style.
- Create orientation training with cool guides for employees and managers, tracking their journey at 30/60/90-day intervals.
- Be the manager's and the employee's guide - you are their guiding star.
- Ensure everyone gets in their mandated training groove, no exceptions.
- Collaborate with the internal audit team for mandated training audits; they love a good show.

**Recruitment Rock Star**
- Get cozy with our site leaders to understand their recruitment needs.
- Dream up a plan to hire in stages, because we like building the suspense.
- Dive into immigration strategies to uncover hidden talent gems for our open roles.
- Establish relationships with immigration companies to smooth out the logístical journey.
- Call up immigration lawyers when needed - they are like our legal roadies.
- Host epic job fairs that target our staffing needs and bring in brand ambassadors to wave our flag.
- Collaborate with partners and city officials to create affordable housing options for our Rock Stars from afar.
- Get creative with transportation options for our Rock Stars; they need to arrive in style.
- Be a part of the pay equity strategy, working with our VP of HR and the SHRSS team in Florida. Get ready to roll out some serious job architecture development.

- Network with management and Team Members from all departments. We are all about unity
- Keep it ethical; we are here to protect the Hard Rock image.
- Be ready for some late-night HR sessions or whatever hours are thrown your way.

Qualifications:
**Experiences, Education, and Certifications**
- Rock a minimum of three to five years of HR experience specializing in recruitment or people development (we are not counting, but we are listening).
- Having a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is like having an all-access pass - strongly preferred.
- You should know your way around Canadian labor laws and hiring practices.
- Change is our middle name, so dealing with organizational culture changes is your jam.
- Don't forget your backstage pass: Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

- Your communication skills should be strong enough to break a sound barrier.
- Complex ideas? You have that. Explain them with flair.
