**Responsibilities**:
- Ensures that the same high quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers.- Works with the service advisors to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.- Sell parts through the shop, by phone or over the counter to customers.- Assist walk-in customers with the selection of parts, suggest companion requirements and relay specials to ensure customer is aware of the product line.- Provide price quotes and other related parts information via the telephone.- Determine availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order.- Retrieve parts purchased from stock.- Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.- Issue credit for parts returned; ensure invoice number is on hand to verify purchases and pricing.- Assist the Parts Manager in ordering stocked parts.- Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.- Comply with required health and safety regulations.- Maintains professional appearance.- Other duties as assigned by manager.

**Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for customer service and sales are essential- Previous Automotive or Parts knowledge will be considered an asset- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving abstract
