The QA Foreman will report directly to the designated Project Manager, the QA Foreman will coordinate field operations on all assigned projects to ensure that all work is carried out according to the health and safety guidelines, client specifications and the specific project plans. As a leader within the team, the QA Foreman will use Telecon’s SMART values to meet the company objectives by providing all necessary support to team operations while ensuring the company’s vision and guiding principles are adhered to.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supports the team professionally with ongoing coaching; identifying training needs, performance management, and employee relations
- Communicate with technicians and client to ensure daily workloads are completed on time and to specifications
- Submitting detailed work summary reports to Project Manager
- Review all work orders and project documentation in preparation for the installation of telecommunications infrastructure
- Review drawings prior to the start of installation to determine the required installation methods, tools and equipment.
- Instruct crew members and complete Job Safety Assessment on the project plan by outlining the order in which job procedures will be carried out
- Coordinate with crew members to determine the equipment required for the project and ensure that materials and equipment have been scheduled and loaded for transport to the project site
- Communicate with technicians and client to ensure daily workloads are completed on time and to specifications
- Ensure adherence to administrative requirements within contracts, by all subcontractors including health & safety standards; ensure all services are executed in compliance with the customer contract and in accordance with industry and Telecon standards
- Ensure vehicles assigned to crews are maintained properly and CVOR requirements are followed
- Managing employees and challenges (i.e. discipline) as required
- Supervise field crews and sub-contractors Work with the Project Management team and Contract Coordinators to plan and distribute work to field crews.
- Travel between job sites to follow-up and ensure that project timelines are maintained according to client expectations.
- Responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance on assigned job sites; ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to team members on various aspects in the field
- Communicate and work with clients (internal and external), Managers, Municipalities and locate companies to ensure that any obstacles are removed and projects are completed to client specifications and within timeline(s)
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of supervising or leading operations in the field
- High School Diploma (preferred); College Diploma is an asset; relevant experience will be considered equivalent
- Ideal is a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction environment
- Exceptional Customer Service focused, both internally and externally
- Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong relationships, and network effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients and partners

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must have a valid Driver’s Licence
- Must be willing to travel locally as needed
- Flexibility to work on weekends and varying shifts dependent on business needs
- Able to lift, manipulate and carry up to 75lbs when needed
- Able to climb up to 20 ft
