**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Transition House Worker will:

- be responsible for the smooth functioning of the residential program during the day shift while ensuring the safety of service recipients; and
- offer supportive counselling, referrals and advocacy appropriate to meeting the individual needs of women who are survivors of wife assault, sexual assault and emotional abuse.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
The Transition House Worker will have:

- a two-year diploma in the area of women’s studies, social work or counselling psychology;
- two years experience in a supervised women services program; or
- an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**RATE OF PAY**:
$25.95 per hour
