**Job Summary**

OCL Custom Crushing and Quarrying Ltd., specializes in custom aggregate production and heavy equipment; owning and operating three gravel pits and a quarry for over thirty years to best serve the construction community in and around the Greater Sudbury area.

OCL Custom Crushing and Quarrying Ltd. is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of AZ/DR Truck Driver.

The AZ/DZ Truck Driver is responsible for completing short haul deliveries in and around the Greater Sudbury area by operating triaxle dumps and/or triaxle with pups. Hauling includes but is not limited to waste rock, sand, aggregates, and equipment by float trailers. Third party hauling may be required from time to time and will also work alongside OCL Custom Crushing and Quarrying Ltd.’s sister company Z’gamok Construction LP.

We are pleased to offer full time permanent position of AZ/DZ Truck Driver at our Lively location.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Secure all loads, materials, and equipment
- Operate vehicle in accordance with laws & regulations at all times
- Verify hauling material and weight
- Perform mandatory daily pre and post trips inspections in accordance with laws and regulations
- Attend locations including both residential, mining, and commercial construction sites
- Maintain accurate log in compliance with current laws and regulations
- Constantly monitor, service, and document the equipment logs and inspections as per the preventative maintenance and standard requirements
- Complete daily paperwork; timesheets and haulage timecards
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior
- Comply with OCL Custom Crushing & Quarrying Ltd’s policies and procedures
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Valid class AZ or DZ License
- Minimum 2-3 years of hauling aggregate experience
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Basic measurement and calculations skills
- Ability to take direction and communicate verbally
- Excellent observation skill and strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

**Additional Qualifications that would be considered an asset**:

- Experience operating heavy equipment
