Due to strong growth and excellent results, Cloverdale Paint Inc. has an incredible opportunity for a **full-time Shipper/Receiver **to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. This individual must be available to work **Monday to Friday.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the shipping, handling, distribution and storage of all products.
- Thoroughly plan and control, ensuring that goods and products are managed correctly.
- Proper and accurate shipping functions of products to Cloverdale’s customers.
- Be hands-on and proactive when required, with focus on of the smooth running of the department.
- Prepare shipping documentation and records for shipping. Attach identifying labels or tags to materials or mark information on cases / packages. Check all items to be shipped according to the requirements of pick-slips. Including international shipments.
- Maintain shipping files and other required shipping documents.
- Order adequate quantities of shipping supplies to meet production. Work with Procurement to replenish supplies as needed.
- Communicate with transport companies to determine pick-up time, type of truck needed taking into account weight and size of shipments.
- Load, unload and stack materials from pallets, floor stacks and shelves.
- Load materials into vehicles. Install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Assist in performing inventory cycle counts of production material on an established basis.
- Comply with the organizations environmental, health & safety, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.
- Participate in company-sponsored training relating to material handling, safety and quality.
- Maintain the work area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 3-year experience in similar role
- Valid drivers license is a requirement
- Raw Material Organizing and Tagging Forklift experience asset
- Previous work experience working in a paint or chemical manufacturing considered an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional teams as well as with internal and external customers
- Committed, dedicated and a team player
- Must have excellent listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lb regularly

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
