GMCI currently has the position of DZ Truck Driver available at our Woodstock location.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Perform multiple daily pick-ups and deliveries of products to and from customers and suppliers within the scheduled times planned.
- Deliveries are primarily all within Southwestern Ontario, in the Woodstock, Kitchener
- Waterloo, Cambridge, Stratford, London, St. Thomas, Brantford, and Simcoe regions.
- Shunt roll-off bins in various yards as requested.
- Perform daily safety inspections of trucks and roll-off bins.
- Maintain proper logbooks, including ELD as required.
- Adhere to the requirements and regulations set forth by the Ministry of Transportation.
- Support manufacturing operation as requested to accommodate fluctuations.
- Perform and maintain 5S housekeeping (continuous cleaning) duties.
- Strictly follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Complete all training provided, including weekly genba, monthly training assignments, and annual recertifications.
- Other duties as required.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- Valid DZ License required with 5 years of DZ truck driving experience preferred with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Valid AZ License considered an asset.
- 2 years of experience in a recycling, warehouse or manufacturing environment considered an asset.
- Experience operating forklifts considered an asset.
- Proven track record of reliability and safety.
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Must be available to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.
- Must be available to travel to the GMCI Cambridge facility when necessary to support with driving duties upon request.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Straight and/or Rotating Shifts
- Shifts starting at 5:00am and 5:00pm
- Overtime available as needed

Work Location:

- Woodstock, ON: Primary location
- Cambridge, ON: Alternate location (for back-up support when needed)
