Lakeside Grain & Feed Limited is a joint venture partner with The Agronomy Company of Canada and is a leading supplier of crop input products for producers across Ontario. The group at Lakeside Grain & Feed Limited is looking for a self-driven and eager individual to join our growing team as an Warehouse Crew Member.

**Job Description**:

- Receive & organize seed/crop protection products within the warehouse
- Responsible for assisting with inventory of seed & crop protection products
- Work alongside other team members daily to package, deliver orders of seed, crop protection and fertilizer
- Daily forklift use to perform shipping & receiving of seed and crop protection products
- Receive deliveries of bulk products into the designated storage facilities
- General housekeeping duties to be performed across all warehouse facilities

Technical Skills
- Self-Motivated - there is the opportunity for a large level of independent work in this role
- Open-minded attitude - with a wide variety of crops grown in Lakeside’s geographical area, there is a lot to be learned about both row and horticulture crops
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required during the season
- Extended periods of standing and other physically demanding jobs
- Ability to lift, move or carry objects up to 60 lbs.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid G driver's license
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
