Aircraft Painter

**Title: AIRCRAFT PARTS PAINTER**

**Reports to: AEROSPACE SUPERVISOR**

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Aerospace Supervisor, the Aircraft Painter will work as part of a team responsible for ensuring the end product meets specifications and customer requirements.

**Essential Functions**:
Painting of Metallic and composite surfaces

Paint stripping of metallic and composite surfaces

Taping of surfaces

Stenciling of parts

Paint mixing to required specifications

Maintain paint equipment and materials

Ensure all quality documentation is properly filled out and complete.

**Job Qualifications**:

- 3 - 5 years experience in industrial painting (aircraft preferred)
- Sound knowledge of spray painting equipment
- Read, write and speak English.
- Correct colour recognition.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with schematics, blueprints and other technical documentation.
- Ability to wear air supplied respirator
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain Controlled Goods Clearance
- Must be able to lift 50-75lbs as needed
