**What you’ll be doing**:

- Prepares and sterilizes tissue culture media
- Transplants plantlets into other media
- Troubleshooting tissue culture problems
- Keeps data and records on tissue cultures in compliance with regulations
- Cleans tissue culture vessels and equipment
- Actively participates in research and tissue culture discussions and meetings
- Writing and reporting of technical results and information
- Track and evaluate effectiveness of treatments and determine next steps Presenting findings, scientific insights and recommendations to peers
- Other duties as required to support the organization.

**You’ll need to have**:

- Graduates from a B.Sc. program in Horticulture, Microbiology, Plant Agriculture, Plant Biology, Plant Pathology or strong lab related work experience will be considered
- Experience in tissue culture, plant and/or horticultural science, involvement in R&D projects is an asset.
- Ability to execute fine motoric movements while working in a sterile lab environment
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to drive decision-making and effectively work with internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
