**We are Hiring a Commercial Product Manager**

The Commercial Product Manager is responsible for the development and execution of both short
- and long-term product plans managing the product lifecycle process with input from the New Product Development Team as it applies to conceptualization, R&D, Stage Gate project management, product launch, maintenance and retirement.

**What You Will Do**:
**Project Management - 40%**
- Update, maintain and communicate project management files for public reference
- Owner of project target dates based on the Stage Gate process
- Responsible for timely coordination of component production and/or approvals
- Familiarity and experience with supply chain and manufacturing processes
- Lead shifts in supply chain deliverables
- Communicate road blocks and progress reports on a regular basis

**Product Management - 60%**
- Accountable for leading and driving product based launch requirements. Activities will deliver a relevant, competitive assortment for the North American market
- Constant analysis and management of existing product mix
- Recommend product improvements for increased sales and operating income
- Primary resource for competitive product knowledge
- Scorecard analysis of actual new product sales versus business case forecast
- Communicate product development/launch plans to brand/channel departments
- Build product information sheet files (PIS) for revisions and/or new products
- Participating member of Commercial Committees
- Assist Brand with product and pricing information for Commercial Marketing collateral Proofreading and product content verification only
- Assist DFC & Canadian Sales with occasional travel throughout North America providing product training, portfolio information and product launch updates
- Assist in the development of training tools for internal and external audiences
- Present new product development plans and product training to various size audiences
- Provide internal training support for Sales, Customer Service and Marketing

**What You Will Bring**:

- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Product Management preferably in the commercial industry
- Applied project management experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Access)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven facilitator with mediation experience
- Track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Above average mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills in group and individual settings
- Occasional travel required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
- Engineering degree from an accredited University or College is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) ® credential is preferred
