Commissary Clerk

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Preparing fresh food packaged product for sale
- Prepare ingredients, then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
- Ensure products are stored at correct temperatures and include correct ingredients
- Comply with all applicable food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures and standards established by the company and other regulatory agencies
- Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep the cost within the forecasted range
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared promptly by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery
- Set up and clean station according to store protocol
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Performs any other tasks as required by the Commissary Supervisor
- Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 40 lbs. and operate equipment, such as meat and cheese slicers, scales, etc.
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time and working in a kitchen environment
- Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
- Previous kitchen experience
