Leap Forward Childcare is looking for a part-time "Day Care Helper" to assist with the day-to-day care of 28 children ages 1-5 years of age. The centre is located in Langford at 2758 Peatt RD.

**State Date**:

- ASAP

**Wage**:

- $18-$29 per hour (dependant on experience, education and qualifications)
- Extended health benefits offered

**Hours**:

- 8:00am-4:30pm Fridays
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays "on call"

**Requirements**:

- 19 years of age or older
- 3 Excellent references
- Experience working with children 1-5 years of age
- Clear Criminal Record Check (completed at the time of hiring)
- The completion of a course, or a combination of courses, of at least 20 hours duration in child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$29.00 per hour
