**Job Summary**:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care within their own homes or residential facilities. Your role will involve providing personal care, administering medication, and offering emotional support to clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Duties**:

- Provide personalized care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and tidying up living spaces
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the highest quality of care for clients
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in nursing home or senior care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques for individuals in assisted living or hospice care

**Salary**: From $27.11 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Vancouver, BC V6H 3V1 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
