Material Handler

Vulcraft Canada, Inc, A Division of Nucor Corporation is currently looking for a Material Handler to join our Leduc, Alberta team.

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials using overhead cranes and forklifts in the shop.

Primary

**Responsibilities**:

- Safe and efficient handling of materials using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Frequent heavy lifting of materials.
- Movement of materials within the shop to ensure materials are stored in a safe manner.
- Ensure accurate material is organized and bundled based on the bundle list
- Ensure documents are cross checked with bundle tag and material tag for accuracy.
- Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor.
- Be willing to help the team succeed wherever possible.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse
- Experience in the steel industry is considered an asset
- Forklift license is considered an asset
- Overhead crane license is an asset
- Safety conscious attitude
