We currently have an opportunity for a **Sales Agronomist.** In this role you will oversee sales activities, foster relationships, and deliver agronomic support to new and existing customers in your territory.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute area sales plans that include specific targets, strategies, and tactics to achieve revenue and profit targets for your area
- Manages a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term customer satisfaction and respond to inquiries from customers, connecting with other internal teams as needed
- Identify new potential revenue and customer opportunities
- Communicate and promote new product offerings to your customers, based on their individual needs
- Monitor and regularly report on applicable sales metrics
- Utilize Farmers Edge tool sets and other agronomic tools to create and/or approve fertilizer, fungicide and seeding prescriptions, and create qualify zone maps by field
- Provide agronomic support by interpreting customer yield variability maps, identifying potential stress or pressure in the field
- Interpret soil test results from Farmers Edge Labs
- Support the collection of customer information required for contracts completion

**This role could be a good fit for you if you have**:

- Degree of Diploma in Agriculture, combined with an Agronomy accreditation (e.g. 4R)
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role
- Strong understanding of precision agronomy practices, including cropping systems and regional farming practices, fertilizers types and blends, and local seed and drainage regulations
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills, and the ability to travel throughout the territory as needed
