Membership Consultant/child Care Assistant

Looking for motivated individuals to help with the day to day activities of running our fitness centre, and helping our members and guests make the most important decision of their life to incorporate physical fitness.

Hours: Part time - casual - on -call

As a membership consultant; this job requires basic reception responsibilities:

- Greeting and registering guests into the facility
- Answering the club phone
- Booking and monitoring personal training appointments and clients
- Selling personal training and memberships
- Providing exceptional customer service

As a Daycare Worker; assisting parents in a smooth transition to allow the children to play with age appropriate activities while the parents can enjoy their well deserved work out They will assist with sterilizing toys and play areas and other duties to ensure that the children are in a safe, engaging, and clean environment.

Daycare Worker Responsibilities:

- Providing care for children, such as setting schedules with the front desk and routines, feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys.
- Developing and encouraging age-appropriate learning and socialization.
- Maintaining a safe workplace by monitoring children.
- Helping children discover new interests.
- Ensuring children are displaying positive behaviors.
- Keeping records relating to child care while reporting to club manager and parents.
- Cleaning

Work Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- More education and sales experience may be required or preferred.
- Additional licenses, certifications, or training may be beneficial or required.
- Decisiveness, patience, and stamina.
- Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attentiveness to the needs of children/members.
