Mdr/sterilization Technician

Tasks:

- reprocess, prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment and supplies for use in the OR and clinic side
- documentation, storage, organization of all surgical instrumentation, equipment and other supplies
- Laundry for OR and clinic side
- Help around the clinic

Qualifications:

- Current Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate;
- Experience in a medical practitioner’s office, customer service and/or patient care is an asset;
- Knowledge of Surgical Instrumentation and Medical terminology;
- Knowledge related to the Basic Principles of Infection Control including Universal Precautions and Aseptic techniques;
- Bilingual knowledge is an asset;
- 1-2 years' of recent and relevant hands-on experience in a Sterile Processing environment preferred
