Bar Manager/bartender

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the bar
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Ability to develop a cocktail menu and make cocktails for restaurant and events
- Supervise and train bar staff on customer service and drink preparation
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of bar supplies
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize bar profitability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional manner

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a managerial role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting
- Proficiency in time management to ensure smooth operation during peak hours
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to manage financial transactions accurately
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and financial reporting

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
