**Responsibilities**
- Ability to rake asphalt to high standards
- Operate raking equipment to distribute and level paving materials
- Ensure that proper grades and slopes are maintained throughout the project
- Work in a team environment to ensure that project timelines are met
- Perform routine maintenance on raking equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with other paving-related tasks as needed
- Follow and adhere to all the Company’s safety procedures and directives
- Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner
- Perform work in outdoor construction site settings
- Act in a courteous manner in order to project a positive company image
**Qualifications**:
- Raking Asphalt experience is considered an asset
- Previous experience working on asphalt and concrete paving projects
- Ability to operate raking equipment and other paving-related tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain proper grades and slopes
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, nights, and early starts (irregular hours) when necessary
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Physical ability to load and unload materials from the dump truck.
