**The Role**

We are seeking a **Production Planner** to join the Production Planning and Inventory Control team. You will be responsible for managing the production needs: from raw material, packaging, ingredients and finished goods through to transfer to inventory. You will also be responsible for the consumption of raw material and the creation of inventory through processing in D365. Your processing responsibilities will extend to all things production related, including the creation of routes and formulas and all financial transactions related to production inside our own
- or third-party facilities. You will be responsible for updating and communicating all production needs vs demand across the programs inside your portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Regular updates of inventory related to production
- Prepare status reports across product lines for key stakeholders
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Updating and advising the various plants involved in the production of any/all products/programs inside the portfolio
- D365 super user with expectations of learning any and all new updates to Master Planning and execution of Master Planning
- Invoice approvals on financial transactions related to production costs
- Production Batch order entry, Transfer order entry as well as any process related functions inside D365
- Relationship building with all applicable plant staff involved in the production of products/programs inside the portfolio
- Regular updates across platforms with a focus on D365 and an understanding of where/how to access data inside the other platforms we operate with. Ie. Northscope, Cool Earth, Navision
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products, addressing issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption

**Qualifications**:

- D365 proficient, super user preferred
- Be a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and ability to learn quickly
- Have the ability to handle working in a fast-paced environment and critical thinking
- Have strong computer skills, exceptional excel skills or an aptitude to learn excel (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Have excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Team player with strong relationship skills
- Willingness to travel periodically inside North America
