Apprentice Glazier

Glazier Apprentice or Equivalent Experience Position/s

Mid Island Glass Ltd, located in Nanaimo, BC is a very busy family owned and operated COMMERCIAL Glazing Contractor currently looking to hire a full time **Glazier Apprentice/s or an individual with industry experience.**

Hours are Mon-Fri 730-4 (stat & weekend overtime optional). Compensation to be negotiated & dependent upon experience and/or level of training completed.

**Duties may include**:

- Assisting in the installation of commercial windows, storefront, curtain wall, canopies, etc.
- Organizing materials for various jobs
- Job site set up and clean up

**Experience/requirements**:

- Some level of industry experience or training preferred
- Arial platform/lift ticket (asset but not required)
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day
- Comfortable with heights
- PPE required (CSA boots & hardhat)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
