**Position: Store Manager** **Location: Burlington, ON**

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership and Development**:
Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of exceptional Sales Associates, ensuring all team members have valid CannSell licenses.
Motivate and inspire the team to provide positive, friendly, and knowledgeable service to our customers.
Coach team members, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular training sessions to foster professional growth.

**Sales and Customer Service**:
Own all customer feedback and ensure timely complaint resolution in coordination with head office procedures.
Utilize customer and team member feedback to continuously improve the customer experience.
Collaborate with marketing to implement effective Cannabis selling strategies, promotions, and incentives.
Analyze sales reports and identify trends to optimize store performance, exceeding revenue and gross margin goals.

**Store Operations and Compliance**:
Maintain strict compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations related to cannabis retail operations.
Oversee all required reporting, paperwork, and provincial tracking system recording.
Conduct daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring adherence to security, reporting, and cash management procedures.
Manage facility maintenance, inventory control, and stock supply to ensure a clean and well-organized store.

**Outside Business Development**:
Proactively engage in business development activities with community businesses and employers to build relationships and partnerships.
Represent Sparkle Cannabis Company in the community and identify opportunities for collaboration and brand exposure.
Foster a sense of belonging and integration within the local community, positioning the store as an integral part of the neighborhood.

**Communication and Leadership**:
Establish a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork, transparency, and effective communication.
Coordinate with management and senior leadership to conduct daily/monthly/yearly inventory audits and reconciliations.
Effectively communicate with the team, ensuring all team members' questions, suggestions, and concerns are addressed promptly.

**Software Platforms and Social Media**:
Possess a working understanding of social media platforms to engage customers and promote the store's offerings.
Proficient in software platforms like Leafly, Greenline, Quickbooks, and Budsense to manage inventory, sales, and financial transactions.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- 3-6+ years of management experience in the retail or hospitality industry.
- Hold a valid Cannabis Retail Store Manager license or the ability to obtain one from AGCO by providing personal disclosure and details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with process management, team problem solving, and inventory control.
- Knowledge of cannabis plants and different strains, as well as local and provincial laws and regulations pertaining to retail cannabis.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and software platforms like Leafly, Greenline, Quickbooks, and Budsense.
- Ability to engage in outside business development with community businesses and employers.
