Grader Operator

**Project Details**:
Based at our project in Northern B.C., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.

**Responsibilities**:
The Underground Grader Operator on our remote project in Northern British Columbia is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Grader and haul truck. Daily duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Following all policies and processes at the mine site and underground
- Always performing the role safely and ensures Health & Safety is the number one priority
- Operate underground grader to maintain roadways
- Operate underground haul truck
- Complete operator and equipment shift reports and communicate closely with supervisors
- Maintain that the working area and equipment is in a clean and orderly condition.
- Completing pre and post trip inspections
- Monitoring vehicle performance, fluid levels and mechanical fitness of machinery
- Willingness to assist with varied tasks and responsibilities including underground service and labour work

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Min. 1-2 years experience operating a Grader and Haul Truck
- Underground mining experience preferred
- Solid work ethic, regular attendance, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety is required
- Must have a Valid Canadian Drivers License and be physically fit and capable of manual lifting and carrying 40lbs repetitively and on a regular basis
- Willingness to work in a cross-cultural team
- Previous experience working with a variety of crews and adapts well to working with others
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and able to commit to a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation
- Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team
- Fully Vaccinated
- Preference will be given to those who reside in Northern British Columbia

Should this position involve frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
