**About the Role**:
This role is focused on supporting and enhancing our ERP / EDI and MES related business processes and procedures. Provides technical leadership in all areas related to ERP/EDI operations. Trouble-shoots ERP/EDI/MES-related issues and monitors ERP/EDI/MES systems. Performs general IT support activities as part of the IT Department. This is an intermediate-level position with 3-5 years of experience with room to grow and acquire skills based in Concord Ontario.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Serves as Primary Contact for Epicor CMS vendor as well as other ERP-related vendors like IBM
- Assists with Epicor CMS and AS/400 operations, specifically in areas such as user on-boarding and off-boarding; menu security, master data management, inventory management, shop floor reporting; continuously learn and develop CMS knowledge in other areas as well
- Helps to maintain shop floor systems such as barcode printers, thin clients, RF terminals
- Can provide training and mentorship for ERP / MES users
- Performs proper change management processes and maintains extensive documentation
- Manages assigned HelpDesk tickets and ensures tickets are assigned to other IT staff; while working on their works on own tickets; coordinates with other IT staff to ensure all tickets are addressed
- Light programming support for WRKQRY, CL on the AS400 as well as some scripting, VBA, Excel tasks
- Maintains high level of security and trustworthiness as the role will have access to data and information that is considered confidential (engineering design, product details & financial)
- Supports general IT department procedures including but not limited to password resets, new user on-boarding and setup, inventory cycle counting, license auditing, software upgrades, testing and evaluation
- Understands and complies with all Magna IT General Compliance procedures and policies. Works with IT staff to resolve and non-compliance issues that are identified

**Who we are looking for**:

- Motivated, self-driven in seeking out tasks and works diligently to complete them with mínimal supervision or waiting for assignment or tasks to be assigned
- Maintains high standards despite pressing deadlines; does work right the first time; corrects own errors; regularly produces accurate, thorough, professional work
- Produces an appropriate quantity of work; does not get bogged down in unnecessary detail; able to manage multiple projects; able to determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; organizes and scheduled people and tasks

**Your preferred qualifications**:

- Preferred Post-high school degree in information technology, systems administration or business systems or equivalent IT certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an ERP/EDI (TLI) or business system analyst within an automotive manufacturing environment (prefer Epicor CMS or others such as SAP or QAD)
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of MES experience (Funnel Cloud or other Solidat preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience with EDI/ TLI software, setup and administration of trading partners, document flow, 830/856, customer-specific requirements (ex. Ford vs GM vs Stellantis), barcode label design, implementation, and support
- Has a detailed understanding and able to support ERP modules
