As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and to be apart of our growing office.
We are looking for a staff member to join our team who can take complete ownership of the full accounting cycle for a range of clients, communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and managers. A problem solver who, like us, is passionate about doing things right.
A day in the life of the bookkeeper might include:
- Accurately recording client invoices, employee expenses and supplier invoices.
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements and analyzing balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- Preparing government remittances for HST and WSIB
- Preparing month and year-end working papers
*Solving accounting puzzles by researching and reconciling discrepancies and ensuring that the accounting is in good order.
- Competently using software such as Quickbooks, Quickbooks online and Sage 50.
