**Position: Temperature Technician**

**Location**:Vaughan, ON

**Type of Employment**:Full-Time - _**Monday to Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM**_

What to Expect

**SUMMARY**: The Temperature Technician will be responsible for the complete inspection of any Trailer Reefer to be used by Operations prior to loading; as well as support the Calibration Team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform Reefer inspection on all daily departure trailers as assigned by Operation
- Communicate with operations and tag OOS any trailer(s) that fail the inspection
- Responsible to maintain the calibration program, including monitoring and arranging for repairs of the temperature services equipment and temperature tracking systems.
- Perform Calibration of the Temperature Services equipment
- Monitor the Fleet Complete System, and ensure all equipment is operational
- Create, update and maintain calibration documentation
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Calibration Team Leader.
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada Guidelines GUI-0069 and GUI-0001
- Ensure compliance with ATS’s SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- *Any additional duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years of working experience within transportation industry an asset
- Mechanical abilities(hobby) an asset
- Above average computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
