Description:
JPD Staffing is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator with a Class A or B license to join our dynamic team. As a Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials on construction sites.

**Responsibilities**:
Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads, ensuring the safe and precise placement of materials.

Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

Interpret and follow project plans, blueprints, and load charts to determine load weights and equipment capabilities.

Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate lifting activities and ensure seamless workflow on the job site.

Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and conduct regular safety inspections on the crane.

Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions promptly to the maintenance team.

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for crane operation.

Qualifications:
Class A or B Crane Operator license.

Proven experience operating cranes on construction sites.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to crane operation.

Ability to interpret blueprints, load charts, and project plans.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
