**Labourer II**:
**Full Time Position**

We are seeking a versatile and skilled individual to perform a diverse range of maintenance and construction tasks throughout the city.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor this position may provide assistance related to water, sanitary sewer and storm service services to residential and commercial properties. Other duties could include pipelaying and pipefitting tasks on water, storm and sanitary mains, asphalt patching, grass cutting and litter control and building maintenance. A variety of light equipment and hand and power tools will be used in performing these duties. Excellent communication skills are required while communicating with members of the public and other contacts. We are looking for a positive individual able to make meaningful contributions to our existing team. Applicants must possess the physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather, have excellent interpersonal skills, and embrace our vision of maintaining and enhancing Pitt Meadows’ natural beauty.
- High school diploma and some related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Driver’s License for the Province of British Columbia
- EOCP Operator in training Certification

A preferred qualification for this role is a Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Endorsement.

This is a full time CUPE position with a salary of **$30.52 per hour **plus benefits.
