Mechanical Assembler uses a variety of tools to manufacture products, should pay attention to detail when carrying out tasks to ensure all components and parts are built exactly as the plans require and are responsible for making sure that the products they build meet the standards of customer's specifications.

**1- Job Related Duties & Responsibilities**
- Follow quality management system policies and procedures as per AS9100 International Standard,
- Read, interpret and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble parts and products.
- Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, template s.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Actively participate in process improvement to maximize our manufacturing process and optimize how we build
- Rework and/or repair assembled parts and/or Components according to engineering specification changes
- Maintain work place clean and safe
- Participate in all training required to meet customer expectation such as Customer documentations, and others as recommended by department manager
- Perform other tasks as request by department manager or lead-hand including cross training helping other areas of the business when in need.
- Basic ability to understand drawings and blue prints

**1- Training, Experience, Education and Skill Requirements**
- Post-secondary trades certificate notably in mechanical/aerospace or 1-2 years of experience demonstrating equivalent required knowledge and competencies
- Comfortable working in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering Drawings, schematics, follow work instructions and work order specifications
- Good manual dexterity demonstrating fine motor skills for working with small components (hand-eye coordination)
- Ability to install bushings, bearings, rivets, nut plates, inserts, working with sealants, Epoxies.
- Ability to use hand and measuring tools, torque drivers, bore gauge, caliper, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to work as a part of a team in a positive manner.
- Ability to multi task while keeping focus and attention to details
- Good communication and social skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft office

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
