Az Driver/mover

**Job description**
We are currently seeking an energetic individual to join our local moving team as an AZ driver/mover for local and within Ontario moves.
Your role will consist of moving furniture from residential and commercial locations, wrapping, packing, loading, disassembling and reassembling furniture for deliveries and moving.
**The responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Load, unload and move furniture and household goods by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Check the inventory of the truck daily, make sure that the truck is up to standards to operate.
- Know the Kawartha lakes area and GTA.
- 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Identify destinations, establish routes and maintain schedules.
- Load and unload furniture to and from the truck in a safe manner
- Arrange furniture inside client’s home according to the given instructions.
- Ensure the content of the truck is safely packed.
- Other day-to-day activities that support the team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures by observing all workplace safety rules and hazard controls.
- Regularly attend training sessions, and share insights and experiences, and promptly bring any health, safety, wellness, and environmental issues to attention
- Strong communication.

- Ability to thrive in a face paced work environment.

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 - 50 per week
