**About the Opportunity**:

Join our boutique employer branding consulting firm as a Data & Research Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' captivating employer brand image. As a Data & Research Analyst, you will harness the power of data analytics to enhance our organization's employer branding strategies and help our clients attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Kindly note that this is initially a 3-month contract opportunity with the potential for conversation into a full-time, permanent role.

**In this role, you will**:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of diverse data sources, including social media, internal research, and external market research, to evaluate the effectiveness of current employer branding initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivery, media, and business development to gather relevant data and insights for crafting compelling employer brand messaging.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to identify the unique strengths and values that differentiate our clients as employers from their competitors.
- Conduct external and internal research on industry best practices and market trends to inform data-driven employer branding strategies.
- Prepare state-of-the-art reports and metrics to guide clients and internal stakeholders on their employer branding journey.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions and workflows to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and take ownership of research methodology and data systems.

**You’ll thrive in this role if you**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on HR analytics and/or research analytics.
- College or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Ability to clean, analyze, interpret, and visually represent data using various business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (preferably Tableau).
- Experience working with databases and conducting SQL queries for data extraction and pipeline creation.
- Proficiency in coding frameworks such as Python.
- Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL / ELT) processes.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with cloud systems such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (preferably GCP).
- Experience interacting with APIs for consumption towards Analytics.
- Familiarity with HR metrics, employer branding concepts, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Experience developing and maintaining databases and data systems on cloud platforms.
