Irrigation Technician

Irrigation Company in Vancouver BC looking to hire Technicians to start for our 2023 season.

This position is available for those able to work in Greater Vancouver and or the Fraser Valley, British Columbia.

Irrigation Technicians are responsible for starting up, servicing, and winterizing our clients irrigation and low voltage lighting systems. Having a strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems and knowledge of lighting systems is a strong asset. Technicians typically work March to November, and typically collect EI or travel December - February. We are currently hiring staff for the 2023 season that would like to see this position become a career.

Technicians are supported with an office staff of 17+ who schedule calls, collect client payment, and handle customer service issues.

You are supported and trained in quoting upgrades to our clients to increase your profitability substantially beyond your hourly rate if you are inclined.

You should have at least 2 -3 years of general irrigation experience, and minimum 1 year of service experience for this role.

Technicians are provided with a company: phone, laptop, work truck, gas card, supplier accounts. Our database system allows you to invoice and make upgrade sales to clients from your phone or laptop. You commute from your home to your work area daily, pick up parts from the closest supplier to your area, and do not need to visit our office.

**Salary**: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
