Production Assembler

Carleton Place, Canada Metergy Solutions Inc. Full time

The Production Assembler will be required to perform tasks involving physical labor at an assembly plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities will include the assembly of products using bolts, screws, clips, and assorted fasteners. The Assembler will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
Job Duties
- Read and understand assembly instructions, and other technical documentation
- Fasten electro-mechanical components together using hand and power tools with strict adherence to assembly instructions with the highest regard for safety and quality
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Ability to work with extremely small and delicate material
- Willing to learn and adapt to new methods and procedures
- Must be able to provide, as well as receive, constructive feedback
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Highly organized with a strong ability to multitask, dealing with multiple and changing priorities

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of workplace safety, safe lifting and product handling procedures
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Critical eye for identifying defects
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects
