We are looking for a part-time Nursing Instructor to teach our Postgraduate Nursing Program for a face-to-face class in our New Downtown Vancouver Flagship Campus.

Reporting to the Program Coordinator and Campus Director this position requires the instructor to prepare Internationally Educated Nurses to enter the Canadian healthcare system by sharing with students their industry experience and helping them synthesize the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required for the students to adjust and succeed in their Nursing career in the Canadian context.

Schedule:
45-weeks of courses, the program has numerous starts ongoing year-round

Days, 5 days a week, on-Campus

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Teach students using a systematic plan with clear learning objectives
- Prepare teaching materials, assessments and Lesson Plans for courses
- Administer and grade all assessments and exams
- Advise students on program curricula needs and inquires during class hours
- Maintain a professional relationship with students while ensuring that their general well-being is addressed through Student Services supports
- Update and maintain grades on a weekly basis
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and report patterns of absence

Credentials & Qualifications:
**Must be a Registered Nurse in Canada
- With valid CPR certification
- A minimum of 3 years full-time clinical experience
- Teaching experience with international students preferred (minimum 2 years)
- Fluent command of the English language; both verbal and written mastery (if none native speaker must meet or exceed 7.0 IELTS)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office specially, Excel/PowerPoint, and familiar with LMS - Moodle and team video conferencing as well as Social Media platforms
- Demonstrate capabilities to teach, assess and engage adult learners in a classroom setting.
- Possess ability both in working independently and collaboratively with others
- Must exhibit cultural sensitivity and conflict resolution skills

**Salary**: $37.00-$45.00 per hour
