**Responsibilities**:

- Create programs that allow children and youth to discover interests, talents, and new hobbies
- Recruit, supervise, actively mentor and train staff, volunteers and members
- Participate in community engagement activities that promote service provision in high priority neighbourhoods
- Represent BGCHH in diverse communities with knowledge about our mission, vision, values and strategic direction
- Encourage and promote lifelong learning and healthy lifestyles to children and youth
- Develop and implement programs based on member feedback
- Build relationships with members
- Assist with the development and monitoring of the program budget
- Maintain professional relationships with community partners, peers, members, volunteers, and parents.

A Full job description will be provided upon hire
- A commitment to the Club’s mission, vision and values
- A university or college degree in recreation or a related field
- Extensive knowledge and experience in program implementation and supervision
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to contribute to the creation of positive team and workplace dynamic
- Demonstrated empathy, approachability and an understanding of others
- Successful experience working with a diverse population
- The ability to streamline, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and be well organized
- An acceptable Police reference check for the Vulnerable Sector, as well as a valid First Aid/ CPR level C and full G class License.

**Salary**: $44,462.00-$58,654.00 per year
