**About the position**
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales cycle by providing continuous assistance to Account Managers. They will act as a liaison between customers and various departments within the organization in order to increase collaboration and improve efficiency.

**What you’ll do**:
- Actively work with account managers to develop new business and create growth within Univar’s current customer base- Be a secondary point of contact for customers to ensure requests are reviewed efficiently- Support account managers with daily requests pertaining to sample requests, pricing supports, and other- Assist account managers with customer annual reviews- Work with internal staff to ensure Univar delivers exceptional customer service- Support sales team with price entry and maintenance- Assist with product code setup- Perform material searches verifying lead time, and MOQ- Work with the Technical Services team to prepare sample requests and fulfill technical document requests- Liaise with Product Management to share information with customers and account managers- Other duties as required

**What you’ll need**:
- A College diploma or University degree in a related program (chemistry, sales) and two (2) years’ experience in sales or customer service is required- Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrates initiative and possess strong written and oral communication skills- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)- Must work well under pressure and be able to prioritize and multitask
