**Job description**

**Job Requirements**:
Education: Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience: 1-2 Years of previous manufacturing and warehouse experience in a chemical handling environment, some small industrial equipment experience preferred, previous batching experience is an asset. Must have experience driving a counterbalance and reach truck, current valid certification is an asset

Skills: Attention to detail, able to handle repetitive manual work, basic math, organize, team player, mechanically inclined, and knowledge of basic tools, able to lift up to 50lbs, Must be able to read and write in English

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Core tasks
- Be trained and understand all operation and safety procedures for batching and ventilation equipment
- RFI Scanning and weighing raw chemicals and bulk batches
- Tracking scrap quantities
- Performing post production weight confirmation
- Organizing, Tagging, and wrapping skids of raw chemicals and bulk batches
- Follow all production process control documents and SOP’s for the batching of material
- Follow all health and safety instructions and report any health and safety concerns to the Production Manager
- Work with R&D formulators on new products and processes
- Report any quality issues to the QC coordinator or technician
- Clean up production area after each project
- Provide properly labelled samples to QC for testing
- Ensure proper storage of all raw and batched material
- Cleaning of equipment and vessels
- Flexible with overtime and afternoon shifts

Fork Lift Training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$54,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- forklift driving: 1 year (required)
- Chemical handling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift License (preferred)
