Cleaner - Nights - On Call

**Job Title**: Heavy Duty Cleaner

**Location**: Princeton, BC

**Shift**: On Call - 9pm to 2:00am

**Wage**: $20/hr

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized. This role is an on call heavy duty cleaner role to fill in periodically for sick calls, vacation, etc.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Disinfecting all high touch point areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen, offices, etc.
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and windowsills, door glass
- Operating cleaning equipment
- Changing light bulbs and cleaning fixtures
- General Maintenance duties
- Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Experience operating an Auto Scrubber is considered an asset, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
