QA Tester

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team on a one-month contract.

**Responsibilities**
- Follow a predefined set of test instructions to perform tests on a hardware prototype.
- Accurately input test results into a provided spreadsheet or software tool.
- Power on and configure the hardware prototype using its physical screen and keypad as instructed.
- Monitor the prototype’s behavior during tests and report any anomalies to the QA Manager.
- Conduct repetitive testing procedures to ensure consistent results.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to avoid misplacing hardware components.
- Verify that the prototype is properly reset or returned to its default state after each test.
- Communicate effectively with the QA Manager to clarify any ambiguous instructions.
- Assist with basic setup or teardown of the test environment as needed.

**Qualifications**
- No prior QA experience is required.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions with mínimal supervision.
- Comfortable using a physical screen and keypad to input configurations.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting results.
- Strong observational skills to notice and report unexpected behavior.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
