Vmi Driver

There is an opening for a **VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Driver** position in the following department**:Warehouse**

**Reporting to: Milton PSC Supervisor**

**Parker Hannifin Canada** is hiring **permanent Full-Time** **VMI Driver** at our Milton location.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Regularly enter key customer facilities for purpose of managing Parker Product supplied to the customer.
- Coordinate packaging of parts and loading of VMI truck.
- Deliver scheduled orders to the customer’s dock, assembly line, or bin location.
- Become knowledgeable about connector products by attending training sessions.
- Provide customer specific updates and feedback to support sales forecasts
- Develop a good working relationship with key employees at customer locations.
- Make continuous improvement recommendations for the VMI process.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of the vehicle
- Work to meet division objectives for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost

**Job Specifications**

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class G driver’s license.
- 1-2 years’ work experience in a warehousing function within industrial distribution
- Fluid power technician certification or equivalent knowledge base gained through industry experience would be an asset
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

**Skills**:

- Safe Driving Skills and driving record is essential
- Ability to review workload and effectively prioritize responsibilities
- Confident in decision making
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting
- Clear understanding of business ethics
- Experience and understanding of Lean practices
