Job Summary:
We are seeking a junior carpenter to assist on a team
**Duties**:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Install structures like windows, doors, siding, and concrete forms
- Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure timely project completion
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques including framing, siding, and concrete forming
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools for construction work
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
