Q-Line Trucking is looking for a Pilot Driver based out of Acheson, AB, to join our team. The Pilot Driver is responsible for ensuring over-dimensional deck freight is transported safely across Canada and the US.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Make travelling public aware of the presence of over-dimensional loads
- Direct and control traffic, using proper flagging procedures when required, when necessary
- Warn the load driver of any potential problems ahead, including hazards, obstructions or pedestrians on the road
- Find safe places for the vehicles to pull over in order to allow following traffic to safely pass
- Communicate with load drivers to ensure safe transportation of freight

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
- Must have a valid Passport to cross the US Border
- Minimum of 3 years experience driving with Class 5 license
- Experience in the transportation industry considered an asset
- Travel is required
- Available to complete full-time hours as defined by DOT & FMCSA regulations
