The IT Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business stakeholders and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate and define solutions for each project including documenting the functional design and Use Case diagrams.
- Document the Functional Requirement Document (and other related documents)/ JIRA user stories per laid standards
- Own the Solution during the SDLC ensuring a successful release into Production within the agreed timescales.
- Review test scenarios, triage defects and provide solutions
- Support Development, SIT, UAT and Implementation teams in all stages of SDLC

**Experience and Skills required**:

- Background in accounting, finance and/or payments industry
- Working knowledge on Transaction/Payment processing and Liquidity management is preferred
- Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile functions and ceremonies
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple layers of complexity.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and be able to present information and analysis clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Maintains composure in the face of highly ambiguous environments and constant change

**You will have an opportunity to build knowledge of payment processing, posting and liquidity products ranging from**:

- Payment Formats - SWIFT, ISO & Customer/Partner Specific Formats
- Product Flows - Cheques, Cash, Wires, ACH, SEPA
- Payment Processing - Validations, FX Deals, Credit Checking, Sanctions, Warehousing, Reports etc.
- Liquidity products
- Cash Concentration, Target Balancing, Notional Pooling etc.
- Enhance your communication to across all levels of the organization
- Learn about industry and regulatory initiatives in the Payment and Liquidity Processing

**Qualifications**:

- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
