**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain equipment and facilities
- Conduct repairs on machinery and equipment as needed, complete parts list for ordering supplies and potentially sourcing supplies/equipment/components.
- Accompany and if needed assist outside Contractors during Major Prevenative Maintenance and Repairs.
- Prepare machinery and equipment for Sanitizing and cleaning (COP) (CIP) for Sanitizing crew, following food safety guidelines.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Fabricate components when necessary.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Capability to fabricate components as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sanitation protocols
- May also be called on to assist in other Areas of the Plant
This position offers the opportunity to work in a smaller production environment where your skills will be valued, and there is an oppourtunity for advancement. Pay range is commensurate with experience. If you are a dedicated individual with a background in maintenance, we encourage you to apply.
*Cantonese is an asset, but not required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
