Automation Co-op Student

**General Job Description**:
Reporting to the Machine Group Supervisor, this person will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Automation Group with the purpose of gaining experience in the field of automation to compliment formal education. This will include hands on **trouble-shooting** to resolve production and project issues in a professional and timely manner.

**Abilities, Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Asset tags
- EOAT building and testing
- Research parts and components from different suppliers
- Data entry, graphing & charting
- Robot and PLC programming
- Machine Installations
- Strong interpersonal skills working in a diverse work environment
- Update electrical drawings and manuals
- Basic electrical design and wiring for in-house projects
- Report any unsafe activities within the company to the maintenance manager
- Maintain excellent 5S
- Maintain a documented weekly summary of completed work

**Qualifications**:

- **Enrollment in a college or university in a related program**:

- English and able to communicate well with others.
- Ability to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
